Peacefully, with family by her side, on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2017.  Eleanor Monk of Owen Sound in her 87th year.  Beloved wife of the late Gerald.  Dear mother of Beverly and her husband James McLean, Elaine Cameron, Richard and his wife Bonnie, Kirby and his wife Brenda, Connie and her husband Mark Widmeyer, and Joel all of Owen Sound. Sadly missed by 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  Eleanor is survived by her sister Frances Clark of Meaford, her sisters-in-law Sylvia Monk of Owen Sound and Joan Crannie of Little Current, and by her son-in-law Rob Cameron.  Predeceased by her great grandson Tyler Unsworth, parents Percy and Violet Reid, brother Robert Crannie and by her sister Loreen Short.

A memorial service with interment at Greenwood Cemetery will be held in the spring with arrangements to be announced closer to the date.

Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
