Clarence was a WWII Veteran, a member of the Grey & Simcoe Foresters and had an overseas association with the Grenadier Guards.

He died peacefully at the Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Friday, August 26th, 2016 in his 95th year.  Clarence, loving husband of the late Leitta (nee McCartney).  Loving Dad of Lloyd, and Dennis and his wife Elizabeth.  Proud Grandpa of Shannon, Shelley, Greg, Darrin, and the late Stephen.  Great Grandpa of Caitlin and Mackenzie. 

Friends will be received at the Tannahill Funeral Home, 1178 4th Ave West, Owen Sound, 519 376 3710, on Tuesday, August 30th, 2016, from 7-9pm with a Legion service being held at 6:45pm.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, August 31st, 2016 at 11:00am.  A reception will follow at the Owen Sound Legion, Branch 6.

Memorial donations may be made at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 6 or to the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce and would be appreciated by the family.
