Peacefully, with family by his side, at Maple View Long Term Care, Owen Sound, on Wednesday, January 11th, 2017, in his 91st year.  Fred, loving husband of the late Marguarette “Dolly” (nee Wright).  Loving father of Lorance and his wife Debbie, Audrey McMullin and her partner Jeff Splawnyk, Bill and his wife Irene, the late Frederick and the late Glen.  Proud Grandpa of Lisa, Paul (Kirsty), Lori, Joe, Russell (Kelsie), Amanda (Mike), Jason and John.  Great Grandpa of Taylor, Kody, Lyla, Lucy, Ethan and Michael.  Dear brother of Karen and her husband Oswaldo De Marcantonio, and brother-in-law of Jim Donnelly.  Predeceased by his brother Bob and his wife Darlene, his sisters Nell and her husband Joe Miller, Marj and her husband Ab Robison, and Velma Donnelly.  The family would like to thank Maple View Long Term Care for the compassion and care they gave to Fred.

Friends will be received at the Tannahill Funeral Home, 1178 4th Ave West, Owen Sound, 519-376-3710, on Thursday, January 12th, 2017 from 7-9pm.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, January 13th, 2017, at 11am with Pastor Brian Jasper officiating.  Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound.

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
