Passed away peacefully at John Joseph Place, Owen Sound, on Wednesday, May 18th, 2016.  Predeceased by her loving husband Marcus Plant of Ann Arbor, Michigan and daughter Elizabeth (Betsy) Gallagher of Owen Sound.  Gerry is survived by her children: Peggy Calestro, and her husband Ken (Columbus, OH); Mark Plant (Washington, DC); Nancy Plant and her husband, George Jarecke (Bainbridge Island, WA); and son-in-law, Gordon Gallagher (Owen Sound).  She will also be missed by her grandchildren: Julie Calestro-McDonald and her husband, Jerry McDonald; Brady Calestro and his partner, Karen Vujnovic and children Ana and Ella; Kate Jarecke; Jason Gallagher and his wife, Lori and children Natalie and Joel; Jeff Gallagher and children Austin and Nickolas. 

A memorial service will take place in Ann Arbor, Michigan at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce.
