John was the youngest brother to my Mother, Winnifred Jackson and a person I have admired all of my life. John projected a quiet confidence in life and an awareness of living in "the now", resulting in an obvious elevated level of happiness. My only regret is, that because we moved away when Ann, Don, Jim and I were young, we missed out on sharing life experiences with the Mom's side of our family tree. Even when we children were young it was obvious that my Mom really missed her family, especially John with his infectious smile.
