Peacefully, with family by his side, on Sunday, October 22nd, 2017, at the Chapman House Hospice, Owen Sound in his 82nd year.  John, beloved husband of Judy.  Loving Dad of Brenda and her husband Van Spottiswood, Glenn and his wife Michelle, and Mark Tiley and his wife Denise.  Proud Grandpa and Bobo of Shannon, Shane, Frankie, Sara, Ben, and Jaclyn.  Special brother-in-law of Chris Meyer.  Predeceased by his sisters Doris Armstrong, and Winnifred Jackson, and by his brother Bill.

A special thank you to Dr. Tweedie and the nurses and staff of Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound and the Chapman House Hospice for all of their care and support.

A Celebration of John’s life will be held on Saturday, October 28th, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Tannahill Funeral Home, 1178 4th Ave West, Owen Sound, 519-376-3710.

Memorial donations to the Chapman House Hospice or to the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation for Camp Day would be appreciated by the family.
