Peacefully, at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on Thursday, October 5th, 2017.  Lenny Bowie, in his 77th year.  Loving Father of Ann “Spikey” Bowie (Theo) of Owen Sound, and Erin “Lil Dolly” Bowie of Owen Sound.  Grandfather of Jason, Christianna, Jihann, and Josiah.  Great Grandfather of Ivy.  Brother of Marjorie, Irvin Sr., Robert “Bing”, Christine, and Phyllis, and brother-in-law of Shirley Bowie. Lenny is also survived by his long time friend and mother of his children Rosemarie, and by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Samuel and Maurice, his sister Joan, and by his brother Philip.

The family wish to thank all of the 6th floor nursing staff who cared for him, Dr. Veenstra, and a special thank you to nurse Jackie 

Friends will be received on Thursday, October 12th, 2017 from 11:00am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm at the Tannahill Funeral Home, 1178 4th Ave West, Owen Sound, 519-376-3710.  Interment Leith Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Owen Sound Figure Skating Club would be appreciated by the family.
