Anne Margaret Kelly (nee Currah) of Annan ON passed peacefully in her 94th year at Chapman House in Owen Sound from a brief illness on November 3, 2019. Anne is survived by her two daughters Shelly and Kerry Sue, her brother Lou Currah (wife Shirley Currah) as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by beloved son Kenneth Curtis.
Anne was born March 26, 1926 in Maplewood ON. She served in WW2 as a clerk in Canada, she fibbed about her age to serve as did many. After service she returned to school and followed a new path of service in Nursing. In nursing she worked in London, Gravenhurst and back to London until retirement.
Anne retired to Annan on 10 acres where she followed her second love in life, her garden.
The family wishes to thank the many friends, neighbours and family that have been supportive on this final journey. Special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and support staff at Chapman House in Owen Sound for the superb care.
Per Anne’s wishes, cremation has been arranged by Tannahill Funeral Home and there will be no service.
As an expression of sympathy donations to Chapman House or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

I gaze upon my garden.
My heart grows peacefully still.
From it’s colour comes my wisdom.
From it’s spirit comes my will.
