Douglas Armstrong Obituary

Peacefully, on Saturday September 7, 2019 in London, at the age of 85. Born in Owen Sound, Doug was the long-time and devoted husband of the late Patricia Armstrong (Barfoot); loyal and loving father of Kirby Armstrong (deceased), Lisa Smith (Barry) of London, and Andrea Anderson of Mississauga; adoring grandfather of Meghan Smith (Josh) and Jordan Smith (Rayne); and smitten great-grandfather of Evan, Jett, Maeve and Beckett. Also generous and steadfast father-in-law to Barry Smith and brother-in-law to Joan Barfoot. Born in 1933 to Vera and Leslie Armstrong, Doug is also survived by sisters Marsha and Jay and sister-in-law Dele Armstrong. A private memorial service will be held in Owen Sound at a future date.
