Joan Carnahan Obituary

Peacefully, on Thursday, February 8th, 2018 at Summit Place, Owen Sound, in her 80th year. Joan, beloved wife of Ken Carnahan. Loving Mother of Carl Carnahan (Teri) of Waterloo, Allan Carnahan (Brenda) of Aylmer, Ken Carnahan Jr. (Trish) of Cambridge, and Karen Playford (Darren) of Chatsworth. Proud Grandmother of Jim (Danyale), Bob, Jason (Kim), and Tom (Sarah) Carnahan, Sarah and Abbie Playford, Sadie, Payton and Taylor Piellusch, and Great Grandmother of 7. Dear sister of Jacqueline MacGregor (Bud) of St. Catharines. Predeceased by her father John Bell, her mother Ethel Strucke and stepfather Walter Strucke, and by her brother Larry Dixon.

By her request her body has been donated to the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Western Ontario for education and research.

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Grey Bruce would be appreciated by the family.
