Marliene (Raby) Simkins

Peacefully, on Monday, May 14th, 2018 at the Summit Place, Owen Sound, in her 77th year. Marliene of Gooderham, beloved wife of the late Brant Simkins (May 1, 2018). Loving mother of Joe Jenkins, Steve Jenkins, Andrew Simkins (Jeanette), Tammy Downs (Bruce Tannahill), and Doug Simkins (Heather). Proud Grandmother of Stacey Niman (Aaron), Brenden Jenkins, Mary Jenkins, Jude Jenkins, Sara Simkins (Josh), Justin Simkins (Madi), Candace Sprung, Brittany Sprung (Ben), Derek Downs (Kristina), Jennifer Stewart (Kyle), Cory McPhee (Sarah) and many great grandchildren. Dear sister of June Henderson, Grenville Raby (Lenora), Beverly Cook (the late Myrl), and Michael Raby (Debby), and sister-in-law of Terry Brown and and Faye Raby.   Marliene will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Mitchell and Charlotte Raby, her sister Jerliene Brown, and her brother Gerald Raby.

Friends are invited to join the family on Saturday, June 9th, 2018 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm for a Come and Go Celebration of Marliene and Brant’s lives at the Lindsay Royal Canadian Legion, 12 York Street North.

If desired, a memorial donation to the Alzheimer’s Society of Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family.
