Peacefully, at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, Bob Caple of Owen Sound in his 85th year.  Beloved husband for 62 years of Fran (nee Robins).  Dear father of Scott (Suza) of Owen Sound, James (Marilyn) of Newton, New Jersey, Catherine (David Berube) of London, Peter (Sandra) of Cambridge, and Pamela (Mark Hosie) of Waterloo.  Proud grandfather of Catherine, Karen, Emily, Andrea, and Erin, and great grandfather of Dashel, Titus, and Penny Rae.  Predeceased by his sister Marjorie Caple.  For 60 years Bob and Fran have lived in Owen Sound where Bob worked for 30 years at Bell Canada. He was involved extensively with the OSLT, where he built many sets and oversaw the renovation of the Roxy Theatre. On the fair weather days of summer, Bob was to be found on the water, either in his sailboat, or along the shore at a beach. Bob will be missed by his many dear friends.

Friends will be received on Thursday, July 6th, 2017 from 7-9pm at the Tannahill Funeral Home, 1178 4th Ave West, Owen Sound, 519-376-3710.  A private family funeral service will be held. 

Memorial donations to the Chapman House Hospice or the Owen Sound Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
