Sadie "Sally" Evelyn Jay

Passed away peacefully, at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Tuesday, August 20th, 2019 at the age of 96.  Beloved wife of the late Ralph Jay (2000).  Loving Mother of Doreen Peach of Chatsworth and Cathy and her husband Tom Kennedy of Holland Centre.  Proud Grandmother of Christine (Shawn Thompson), Cheryl-Anne, Edwin, John (Sonia), and Joe (Amanda), great grandmother of Matthew (Sabrina), Christopher, Jasmine, Teigh-Anne, Sophia, and Benjamin and great great grandmother of Sophia. Predeceased by her son-in-law Dennis Peach, her sisters Estella Herron and Joyce Ferguson, her brother Craig Sedgwick, and her sister-in-law Winnifred Broderick.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, August 26, 2019 from 12:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:00pm at the Tannahill Funeral Home, 1178 4th Ave West, Owen Sound.  Private interment Glendale Cemetery, Toronto.

Memorial donations to the Owen Sound Hospital Foundation – for Oncology or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
