Billie D. (Gough) Grainger

Peacefully, while surrounded by her family, at Country Lane LTC on Sunday February 12, 2023 in her 102 year. Billie Deyell Grainger (nee Gough) Bsc Nursing, Western University 1944.

Beloved wife of the late Hon. Col. W.F. Grainger (2007). Dear mother of Penny Garvin (the late Dr. Ken Garvin), Katharine Gillespie (Tom) and Susan Davey (John) all of Owen Sound. Much loved grandmother of Sarah Garvin, Heather Garvin and husband Matt Vigliotti of Owen Sound, Mitchell Gillespie and wife Dr. Kathryn Marsilio of Toronto, Megan Robinson (nee Gillespie) and husband Anthony of Owen Sound, William Davey (Zac Wisby) of Sydney, Australia, Elizabeth Kalnins (nee Davey) and husband Paul of Kingston, Kathleen Davey and her fiancee Grant Cowles of Kenora. Predeceased by great granddaughter Deyell Rose Kalnins (2020). Great Grandmother of Ronnie Davey of Sydney, Australia and Autumn Gillespie of Toronto.

A special heartfelt thank you to Dr. Singh and everyone who cared for Billie at Country Lane Nursing Home, Chatsworth, Ontario.

Visitation will take place at the Tannahill Funeral Home on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Celebration of Life service at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 865 1st Ave. West, Owen Sound on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 2:00pm. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce (Chapman House) would be appreciated.
