Elizabeth Reinheimer

Elizabeth Reinheimer of Meaford passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 83 on January 31st, 2021. Her final days were spent surrounded by family.

She had a love that many people can only dream of.  Her husband Horst Reinheimer of 67 years was her best friend, husband, and life partner. Together they journeyed to a new country in 1956 speaking no English, they landed in Toronto and started a beautiful adventure. Her legacy will live on through her family and the company she started in 1986 as it continues to thrive. Elizabeth loved the impromptu dances with Horst wherever they were and always cooking German meals for her family.

Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered and so very missed by her Husband, Horst Reinheimer. Daughter Cindy Gretton (John), Son Henry Reinheimer (Pauline), her grandchildren, Ryan Gretton (Amanda), Nichole Martin (Chris), Nicholas Reinheimer (Crystal), Avery Reinheimer, Ashley Roberts (Daniel) and her great-grandchildren Jacob, Mackenzie, Larrisa, Tru, Odin and Carsten.

Elizabeth was simply known to all that had the pleasure of meeting and knowing her as Oma!

No funeral services will be held as per Elizabeth’s request; however, a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
