Passed away peacefully, at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Sunday, March 13, 2022 in his 94th year. George, beloved husband of the late Ruth (nee Buchanan). Loving father of Steven. Proud Grandfather of Nicholas, Tyler, Cody, and Sophie. Dear brother of Patricia McConachie-Luckhardt, and brother-in-law of Jean and Milton Bye. Also survived by daughter Lynda and her two children Alex and Elise. Predeceased by his brothers James and John.
A Funeral Mass for George will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at St. Mary’s and the Missions Roman Catholic Parish, 554 15th Street East, Owen Sound, 519-376-0078.
Memorial donations to St. Mary’s and the Missions Roman Catholic Parish – Building Project or the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce would be appreciated by the family.
