Peacefully on Sunday, September 5, 2021 with family by her side, at Lee Manor, Owen Sound, in her 102nd year. Jean, beloved wife of the late George Cameron. Loving mother of Rob, Cathy & her husband John Murdoch, and Jim & his wife Jan. Proud Grandmother of Robyn (Mark), Reid (Nadia), Jay (Tracy), Jeremy (Jenn), Michael (Chrissy), & Anthony. Great-Grandmother of Hailey (Kevin), Jordyn (Chad), Taylor (Zack), Antonia, Nicolas, Audrey, Isla, Felix, Parker, Evalyn, McCale & Wyatt. Step-grandmother of Mark (Lissa), Jarrett (Lisa), & Timothy (Crystal). Special friend and a cherished life-long relationship with Elaine Cameron. Jean was the last surviving of 9 Furness siblings.
Jean’s generosity has allowed her body to be donated to the University of Toronto for Research.

A private church service will take place on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 1 pm and a Celebration of Life come and go for Jean Cameron will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Owen Sound on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 2:00pm. Proof of vaccination is required to attend at the Legion. Please wear your mask and remember to maintain social distancing protocols.
