Obituary
Peacefully, with family by her side on Thursday, February 9, 2023 in her 80th year. Hilde, beloved partner of Sandy MacGibbon and loving wife of the late Gerald Cole. Beloved mother of Tracey Cole and her partner Stephen Speth, Stephen Cole and his wife Hoa and Sandy’s daughter Allison Delaney. Proud Oma of Tyler (partner Victoria), Emma, Khai and Sophie. Great Oma of Jaxon. Survived by her sister Giselle and her husband Ken Uhrig. Predeceased by her parents, George and Mary Hofbauer (Eppel) as well as her brother Bela and sister Dora.
Cremation has already taken place. Friends are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life Ceremony with Hilde’s family at the Best Western Inn on the Bay, located at 1800 2nd Ave E, Owen Sound, on Sunday March 5, 2023 at 12:30 pm.
Those who wish to make a memorial donation can do so to the Chapman House – Grey Bruce Hospice.
