Horst Reinheimer

Horst Reinheimer died peacefully at home on June 10th, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. 

He had a love that many people can only dream or wish for.  His wife of 67 years Elizabeth was his best friend, and partner in life.  He lost her in January 2021. Life was never the same. 

Together they journeyed to a new country in 1956 speaking no English, they landed in Toronto and started a beautifuladventure.  His legacy will live on through his family and the company they started together in 1986, as it continues to thrive.

Horst was always the life of any gathering; his infectious belly laugh and fantastic smile will forever be cherished by so many. 

Dad /Opa will be lovingly remembered and very much missed by his daughter Cindy, his son Henry (Pauline), hisGrandchildren, Ryan (Amanda), Nichole (Christopher) Nicholas (Crystal), Ashley (Dan) and Avery.  His great grandchildren, loved and spent many hours with him, and we know that those memories will stay with them forever, Jacob, Mackenzie,Larissa, Tru, Odin and Carsten. He will also be remembered byhis brother Norbert (Karen) of Germany as well as their family.He will be missed by many nieces and nephews of North Carolina. 

Everyone that had the pleasure of meeting Horst called him Opa, and he became everyone’s Opa.

No funeral service will be held as per the request of Horst.
