Howard Austin Allan

Howard Austin Allan, born July 24, 1929 in Owen Sound Ontario, passed away on April 4, 2023. It was a peaceful event within hospital after sustaining injuries from a fall. He will be reunited with his wife, Viola, who passed on January 2022. He will join his son, Austin Thomas Allan, deceased March 2013. He is survived by his daughter Julie and husband Greg Wilson. His memory will be cherished by his grandchildren Matthew Wilson, Lindsay Yearley and Katharine Allan (daughter of Austin and Mary Ellen). Howard was able to spend some precious moments with his great grandchildren, Rebecca and Jackson Yearley. He will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews who learned about devoted caring of family members and perseverance in the face of long-term pain. 

Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 10:00am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00am at the Tannahill Funeral Home, 1178 4th Ave West, Owen Sound, 519-376-3710.  For those unable to attend, the funeral service will be live streamed and can be viewed on the funeral home's facebook page @BrownFamilyFH or in the service details below.
