Jean Maher

Peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Monday, April 3, 2023, in her 90th year. Jean, beloved wife of the late Nels Maher. Loving mother of Brian (Cindy), Shannon (Paul Weitendorf), Lenore (Brad Gervais), Clare (Stephanie), Nadine (Billy McNabb), and Karen (Darcy King). Proud grandmother of Terra (Adam Flook), Lisa Weitendorf (Tim Vigneux), Erin Weitendorf (Andrew Smith), Jessamyn McNabb (Jonny), Jacob McNabb (Kylie), Clarissa and Amber King, William and Joshua Maher, Chandra Gervais (Gary), Ashley Gervais (Brenden); and great-grandmother of Khase, Payton, Hudson, Phoenix, and Neve. Predeceased by her grandson Matthew Maher, and by her brothers John and Dixon Weir.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 2pm - 4pm and 7pm – 9 pm at the Tannahill Funeral Home, 1178 4th Ave West, Owen Sound, 519-376-3710. A funeral mass will be held at 11 am on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at St. Mary’s and the Missions Catholic Church, 554 15th Street East, Owen Sound. Reception to follow.
