Obituary
We thought her fire would burn forever, but unfortunately there are challenges in life that even Marlene Jackson could not overcome.
Mom passed away at home in Keady, Ontario, on October 13, 2022, surrounded by her loving children, who held her hands as she peacefully slipped away.
She is missed, and she will be remembered by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends. Because, hey – if you knew her, you could never forget her.
Mom was predeceased by her beloved husband, Barry Jackson(May 2020), and by their cherished granddaughter, Jersey Jackson Mitchell (August 2022). Dad and Jersey undoubtedly welcomed her and showed her around once she arrived in the hereafter, and by now she’s almost certainly trying to run the place.
We should mention that she didn’t want this notice or the celebration of life that we’ll be holding in the spring, on a date yet to be determined. But we decided that she deserves both, so this is one time we’re not going to do what we’re told. Sorry, Mom.
