Lina Wilkes

Lina moved on with grace in the early morning of April 25, 2023 at Grey Bruce Health Services.  In her 78th year she spent her last moments with her husband Jack (John) and her sister Doreen at her side.

A lover of family, friends, love and connection, Lina never passed a moment in life that didn’t benefit anyone fortunate enough to know her and love her.

Twice moving abroad from her birthplace in England, Canada became her home.  

With careers ranging from industries in equine care, healthcare and structural detailing, Lina was not void of life experience, or the desire to continue gaining more. Her later years saw her time spent as an active Tai Chi instructor and Reiki Practitioner.

Fondly and enthusiastically Lina will be remembered by all whose life she entered.  

Among those, Lina leaves behind Husband Jack.  Brothers/Sisters - Alan, Norman, Doreen, Barbara, Bill, Barry.  Children - Christopher, Colin, Donna, David.  Grandchildren - Emily, Meagan, Samson, Thomas, Daniel, Dalton, Kristen.  Great Grandchildren-Max, Georgia.  Nieces/Nephews-David, Andrew, Karen, Ian, Victor, Betty, James, Matthew, Angela, Robin, Ashley. Lina has joined her Father Eric, Mum Dora and many other loved ones in this next stage of her journey.  

A celebration of life for friends and family will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers Lina would appreciate donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
