Mike Pudlo

Peacefully, with family on Thursday, June 8, 2023 in his 91st year. Mike, beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Chabluk). Loving Father of Michael, Gordon, Sonnia and her husband George Magur, and Stephen and his fiancée Helena Moniz. Proud Geeji of Laura (Antonio), Katryna (Nick), Ryan, George Jr. (Jordana), and Michael. Great Grandfather of Bowen. Dear brother of Mary Swinarchin, and Dennis Pudlo. Mike will be missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers John and Steve and sister Rose and by his daughters in law Mary Jean and Melanie. 

After over 30 years of service, Mike retired from Stelco and moved to Francis Lake in 1993. He was a founding member of the Knights of Columbus Shashkevych Council 7464 in Hamilton and continued as a member of Council 2092 in Owen Sound. 

Friends will be received on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and 7:00pm – 9:00pm at the Tannahill Funeral Home, 1178 4th Ave West, Owen Sound, 519-376-3710. Parish prayers will be held at 8:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 10:00am at St. Mary’s and the Missions Roman Catholic Parish, 554 15th Street East, Owen Sound. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hepworth. 

Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
