Carl, I am sorry to read about Barb's passing. She was a great lady.
In the fall of 1979, I transferred as a RN, from the G&M to the McKinnon Philips hospital. I was a new mom & psychiatric nursing was a new specialty for me. Barb took me under her wing, mentored me with her extensive psychiatric nursing skills, her experiences as a working mother & her friendship. I am forever grateful!! I also enjoyed visiting her at Central Westside. Lots of great memories...
