Kathy and Family.....I am so sorry to hear the news yesterday of your Dad's passing. He was a wonderful person always so friendly to Mom and I when we would see you guys over at the Legion for different functions...He really enjoyed himself last year at the Salmon Spectacular listening to the many bands that performed.. I ran into him there alot last year will miss his smiling face this year...RIP Bernie

Our condolences to all your family on your loss.
Bernie was a great neighbour of ours for many years. Always ready with a smile and offer to help in any way. Have been missing his dropping in to say "Hello" while out visiting the neighbourhood on his golf cart. Great the hear the sound of his cart and the musical horn he had on it while I write this note.
We miss "The Colonel" Bernie.

Christa and I are thinking about you guys and wish we could be there to give yas all a hug!!
I am especially thinking about drinking Bernie's Gin! (aka water) out of his water cooler! A lot of people reading this will not get why I'm saying this... When I was a little kid I'd go over to visit Bernie I'd always get a Dixie cup and go over to the water cooler and pour a cup of water and Bernie would say "STAY OUTA MY GIN"anyone who knew Bernie can hear him saying it in that raspy man voice! (ha-ha) I'd giggle and drink that cup of water and not really know what gin was.... now being grown up everytime I hear or see gin I chuckle to myself and think of him...
I'll miss him a lot and we are keeping you guys in our thoughts and prayers!
