My heartfelt condolence to all the family...I remember Grant as a true gentleman with an infectious laugh....he was always smiling and a joy to know.He will be missed.

Grant was one of those wonderful people that I have been blessed to know. I have fond memories of the Gillespie family being our summer next door neighbors and all the fun and good times we shared at the old Balmy Beach. I remember well Grant at the old arena during the lacrosse season and especially when Owen Sound won the Mann Cup. I know your family will miss Grant as will his many friends and acquaintances. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I last saw Mr. Gillespie on Tuesday, while I was serving him his dinner. He was happy on Valentines Day because Summit Place had held a Valentine's luncheon for couples. He was in good spirits for having dined with his wife and was excited to tell me about it. He asked for a half portion of dinner since he had ate so much for lunch. I never would have guessed that his age was 95. My condolences to the family.
