I am the Pastor of First Baptist Church in Owen Sound. I conduct a communion service on the first Sunday of every month at Kelso Villa. Mr. Tizzard attended those services faithfully. A few years ago, he also gave me a couple of his books which I enjoyed reading immensely. I want to express my deepest condolences to Mr. Tizzard's family.

Just wanted to let you all know that I am thinking of you on this difficult day. Ted left an amazing legacy. I have many great memories of him from when I was a child. Mrs. Tizzard and Ted (as we called them) always looked out for us when my mom was on her own with 3 kids all week with my dad working in Toronto.

Sue, so sorry to hear about your dads passing. I remember him and your mom from my parents involvement at the Grey Granite Curling club years ago. Many years later then you & I meet thru work at Shoppers. Funny how cleaning out of moms house this summer I come across your dads book. Thinking of you Sue at this difficult time, your family will have some wonderful memories cherish them. My condolences, Wendy

I are very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I only met your father a few times but such and interesting and knowledgeable man. Sorry that I am not able to make the funeral as a member of St, Andrew's as I am out of town

Dear Sue and family,

I want to express condolences on the passing of your Dad earlier this week. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting him but from what I read in The Sun Times I would say that he was a remarkable man and person. I am glad that he is at peace.
Sincerely,

Donna
