Dear Cathy, Joanne and families...we are so very sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Jean. Edward had emailed us to tell us she had passed, but we didn't know about the funeral. I have many great memories of Aunt Jean, she was always so welcoming and had the greatest laugh. She was an amazing cook and we all loved her butter tarts!!i. I still remember how thrilled she was when she and your Dad showed up at my parent's house in Lorne Park with new baby Joanne and surprised us all! We share in your sorrow and know that the memories you have of your Mom will keep her forever In your hearts and thoughts. Thinking of you all! With sympathy, love and big bear hugs...cousin Jane and Marv

Thank you Jane and Marv. I'm sorry we had no contact info for you or we would have been in touch. So many great memories have come flooding back to us while going through photo albums, so many photo albums. Mom always loved to capture the moments of laughter and food at every occasion.

Well Joanne and Cathy, as we age ourselves, we just cant comprehend that the parents we have that are still with us, will have to leave us at some point. Thats how it is with my mom, and all you can do is spend as much time as you can with them. I'm so sorry for your loss, and wish that I'd gotten up there to visit. As Connie says, now she's up there with your dad, and will be watching down on you all. I send my warm thoughts.......and know that you guys will get through this together........because you're that close! Hugs .....and hope to see you guys sometime soon. Love you guys..

Thank you Bryan. They're eating well in heaven since Mom has arrived. She passed on her birthday and my husband joked that she'd be baking for a party.

Thank you Jim and Linda. We have found comfort knowing that Mom is now peacefully with Dad again after 13 years. It was a tough time for her especially since she had been unable to bake for so long. It was her passion. They're eating well in heaven these days!

What a lovely photo of Aunty Jean! We are so grateful that we were able to visit with Aunty Jean, Cathy and Joanne just before Aunty Jean went into the hospice. We shared some memories, laughs and hugs. She will be missed but the stories of fun times with the family will remain. Our heartfelt sympathy to Cathy, Joanne and your families.
