Bill,
Because we didn't get to say goodbye, I wanted to say this...
I know you will hear these words because you will be in the heart and in the minds of those reading. You are always with us, we have your memory.
Bill, our true Saint Vincent. You have done so much for Rory and I in our adventure to Ottawa. Moving to a city where no one knows your name is difficult, and you made your weekly trips up and kept Rory company in this sometimes lonely place. You stayed true and dedicated to helping Rory slug beer and made sure this city was well hydrated. You spent Thursday night dinners with us and we will always cherish and remember the laughs. You made us feel like family in a city where we didn't have ours. And I never got to say thank you for that, so thank you Bill, you knew you were welcome here anytime. Thank you for the time, even though it was short, it's impacted us greatly.
Xo Bill we will miss you. Rest in peace.

A stand up man, truly a good friend and always willing to say yes to doing whatever it takes. He was a great person to look up to with what he has overcome within his life. Many people will cherish and remember his easy going ways and kind spirit, I will remember how much you have taught me about keeping it simple and this made him to be a stand up guy, to which myself and all my coworkers knew him as. I will miss him with all my heart and soul.

Dear Samone, Kristi, Brandon and Carly, we were terribly saddened by the news about Bill. We have loads of happy memories of the years we spent next door to you in Windfield Co-op. Sometimes it felt like the two families were joined at the hip. He liked to say he was Big Bill from Louisville, and I suppose he was. You always knew where you were with Bill. He was a stand up guy with a big heart.

I am so sorry for you - Kristy,Brandon & Carly. I always liked your Dad - at any family functions he was in there like a dirty shirt & always seemed to be having a good time.
