Suddenly at his home on Francis Lake, on Sunday, August 21st, 2016 in his 66th year.  Ron, beloved husband and best friend of Phyllis. Dear father of John and his wife Tami of Thunder Bay and Shannon and her husband Brad McKay of Ancaster.  Loving Grampa of Madelyn and Ryan Ross, and Thomas and Leah McKay.  Ron will be missed by his brother Les Ross (Joanne), his two sisters Susan Ross-Confer (Cal) and Della Ross-Smith (Scott), his sister-in-law Virginia Hillyer (Wayne) and his many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents William and Amelia Ross, and his sister Leanda Ross-Stinson. 

Friends will be received at the Tannahill Funeral Home, 1178 4th Ave West, Owen Sound, 519-376-3710, on Thursday, August 25th, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 554 15th Street East, Owen Sound, on Friday, August 26th, 2016 at 11:00am with Father Kuzma as officiant.

Memorial donations to the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce would be appreciated by the family.
